    Curious: Does anyone know name of the large bomber illustrated in Image Galleries/RAF 1930s/.... Abingdon UK/Last?

    This is the image


    Intiially I thought it was either French (Potez) or Russian (Petyalkov).. but neither panned out.

    It looks like a Fairey Hendon.
    About 14 were built and they served with 38 Sqn from the mid-30's until the start of WW2.

    Thanks, all. I can see that now. My initial thought was a French design too and the cockpit structure didn't look familiar. Not the most attractive aeroplane ever built....
