    Joyce Nadene Botting 481290 , a wireless operator attached to A&AEE , died in St. Richards hospital, Chichester, of acute anaemia

    Thomas Henry Davies 1837278 , attached to Number 15 ITW, was admitted dangerously ill to Morriston EMS hospital Swansea on 20 March where he died of toxameia caused by facial boils

    Tom Edward Bullock 1545188 , was admitted dangerously ill to RAF hospital Aden on 30 March where he died of encephalitis

    Hi Jon

    "1944 Sydney George Fielder 1318850 , attached to Number 3 ADU, was reported missing in Spitfire AN 493"

    The serial AN493 wasn't issued so I suspect the aircraft was Spitfire IX, EN493, which crashed into the sea off Catania during a delivery flight, although A-B Serials gives the date as 5 April.
