Default Flt Lt George W: Swanwick, 81 Sqn, Malta, 1943

Does anyone have the 81 Sqn ORB or can someone otherwise tell me from their records why Flt Lt George Swanwick was invalided back to the UK from Malta in August 1943, and remained hospitalised until March 1944?

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

not exact info but found thread on another forum: http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/3561...ally-know-any/
There is one of his relatives so if you will be able to contact him, he might be able to help?
Also another member posted there two photos of Swanwick

Brilliant, thanks Pavel. I'd not seen that, so appreciate the 'heads-up'. I've joined the forum and sent a PM, so hopefully I might hear soon.

    Thanks
