There's a Janet W Stevenson, aged 21, on FreeBMD, death registered in June 1944 in the Whitchurch District, on the Cheshire/Flintshire/Shropshire border.
David Raymond EVANS, aged 27, is registered in 1944 in Caerleverock, Dumfries. Cause of death is 'Due to War Operations. Aircraft crash. Multiple injuries'. Place of death is 'Off Blackshaw Bank, Solway Firth'. Also listed on the same date and place are W/O James Kennedy GILLIES RCAF [R146737] and F/Sgt Thomas Bryant WILLARD. All three are listed as being with 10 (O) A.F.U.

That probably puts Evans and Willard in Anson DJ564 with Gillies

Jones is recorded in the No.9 (C)OTU ORB as being on T5103, along with a Flying Officer Sandberg. ASR was provided by units on both sides of the Solway, they were also out looking for DJ564 at the same time.
