Default Loss details 149 Squadron Stirling EF187 5/6.2.44

    Dear all,

Who can help providing the loss details of 149 Squadron Stirling EF187, which was lost during an SOE operation on 5/6 February 1944? (I have the details from Chorley 1944). Especially the time of loss & cause of loss is of interest.

    Cheers, Theo

    Hi Theo,

maybe you have read it already, maybe it will not help you much, but two years ago there was an article published with the description of it last sortie:

    Hi Pavel,

Cheers for the link to the magazine, but can you (or another member of the Forum) supply a scan of the article, or a synopsis of the circumstances of loss of the Stirling (expecilly time & cause of loss)?

    Cheers & thanks, Theo

Theo I am sorry - I found only this link when searching internet, I have not the magazine in fact. But I hope any other member of our forum would be able to help you.
