    Default 429 Squadron-28/29th Dec,1944

I have the details of this op from Chorley's and wondered if anyone has any further info on the crash. Was it flak from a German U Boat?
I came across a report in a Norwegian site re this crew and the crash but it won't translate from Norwegian!
All the crew are buried in Sandefjord(Ekeberg) Cemetery
    Many thanks

    Hi Linda,

Can you post me a link to the Norwegian article and I can ask my Norwegian guests to look at it and give a translation for you.

    Regards
    Linzee

    Hi Linda,

Have mailed you a translation. Sorry about the delay, a bottle of Auchentoshan malt got in the way last night and a visit to a Wellington crash site in the Cairngorms was the distraction today! Got there in the end though :-)

    Regards
    Linzee & the Wegie boys!
