MILLS, William Frederick - F/S(Pilot) - Allison just says he died, no cause given.

DE LUCIA, John - AC2 (Radio Mech) - he died or was killed whilst on loan to the British SIS.
BASSETT, Frederick James - Sgt (WoP) - possibly killed whilst flying in Catalina IVA, JX273 of No 302 FTU, which flew into high ground near Vatersay in Argyllshire at night.

BROOM, Squadron Leader Wilfred Henry BROOM, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (64898), Navigator, 1 Group HQ, Bawtry Hall, Yorks, Bomber Command, 12 May 1944, Died in a Road Traffic Accident, Killed in a motor car which collided with an army vehicle on the Barnett By-pass at North Mymms, Herts, 2 Civilians from 1 Group also died, Aged 24, Streatham, London, Hatfield Park War Cemetery, Herts.

AC2 John DeLucia RCAF R161336 was born 14 Sep 1913 in Italy, resided at 1507 Robinson St, Niagara Falls, Canada working as an Accountant. Educated in Canada 1924 after his parents emigrated. Syracuse University, NY 1936-39 majored in romance languages. He enlisted and trained as U/t Radio Mechanic, he spoke English, Italian, Spanish and French. His service records show - RCAF Special Section "died while on indefinite leave without pay" that status of indefinite leave seems to start 31.12.1942. Cuttings from Canadian newspapers report that he served in North Africa, Italy and Northern Italy but was captured in Verona/Italy in May 1944 and shot.
