MAIR, William - AC2c - 1342809 - the Daily Mirror of May 16th 1944 reported that he was one of three people killed when the London to Glasgow express derailed near Gretna Junction. The other casualties were Jennie McKeown, A.T.S. and Mrs. Kathleen F. Currie, both from Hamilton.
