    RUTHERFORD 1054240 - died of Pneumonia following an operation for a bowel obstruction. (Source is ancestry.co.uk)

    Hello

    BOULD, John Edward - W/O - 331283 - the Portsmouth Evening News of June 2nd 1944 reported that he died at home at 72 Torrington Road, Portsmouth. He had been disharged from the R.A.F. with heart trouble in November 1943, after having spent 8 months in an R.A.F. Hospital in Hereford. Originally from Yorkshire, he had come to Gosport in around 1922, and was an expert on the 18 inch torpedo.
