LAC John WASHINGTON DIED ON THIS DAY, BUT CWGC HAD HIM AS 1942

    SEE THREAD

    http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...4292#post34292

John Washington actually died in 1944 per the scanned Grave Registration Refort form on CWGC.

And the death register index seems to confirm that
    Deaths Jun 1944 (>99%)
    Washington John 31 Newmarket 4a 981
    Dennis Burke
    - Dublin

Foreign Aircrew and Aircraft Ireland 1939-1945

jONES is listed as being from 1 (O) AFU on the Grave registration Report Form on his CWGC profile.

And a llikely Scottish death register entry is:

    JONES
    ARTHUR SIDNEY
    35
    1944
    891/ 6
    Leswalt

I'd a few credits available so I checked out the death register and he died of Tuberculous Meningitis
At RAF Generald Hospital (can;t read the word) , Leswalt.
Occupation: Local Government Officer, - (RAF Sergeant)
    Dennis Burke
    - Dublin
