Default Luftwaffe Unit based at Abbeville-Drucat Aerodrome, 3 May 1942

Can anyone please tell me which FW190-equipped Luftwaffe unit was based at Abbeville-Drucat Aerodrome on 3 May 1942?

    Thanks

    Hello,

    II./JG 26 - Abbeville-Drucat - 22 Dec 1941 - 8 Jan 1943.

    JG 26 - 3 May, 1942.

Fighter Command dispatched two Rodeos, one Ramrod, and one Circus to France. Numerous Alarmstarts were made by the Geschwader, but the only formation attacked was the Ramrod to Abbeville-Drucat. The Second Gruppe did not make contact, but the Third Gruppe shot down three Spitfires from the escort. The bombers killed one Second Gruppe groundcrewman and injured two at Drucat. Two First Gruppe FW 190s were damaged while landing on Arques after a combat mission.
