    Hello

DUNNE, Leslie Walter (Canada) - Sgt (Pilot) - 541899 - a family tree on ancestry.co.uk has a newspaper clipping reporting his funeral, which records that he came to the UK from Canada in 1937 and joined the R.A.F. He had seen active service in the Middle East and in the Arab rising in Dhibban, Iraq. Returning to England he had been taken ill with pleurisy in April, and was removed to an R.A.F. hospital where he died.

HOWES, Harry Walter - W/O - 237729 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at R.A.F. Hospital Melksham.

PINNOCK, Victor George - LAC - 639706 - the Tauton Courier & Western Advertiser of July 15th 1944 reported that he died in a military hospital in the West Country after a sudden illness. He had just returned from South Africa where he had served for three and a half years, and had three weeks leave. He collapsed at the home of a friend and was taken to hospital.

    SPRATT, Norman Channing - Grp/Capt - O B E - he had an interesting career: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Spratt

    Regards

    Simon
