    Hello

    UK
BRINDLEY, Edward - Cpl - 1010244 - the Western Morning News of July 6th 1944 reported the inquest into his death. It reports that he was thrown from his bicycle after his brakes had failed while descending a hill near Rame with another man, Philip John Lever, R.N. on the crossbar. The cycle hit the edge of a grass verge, throwing Lever off unhurt but Brindley was found lying in the road breathing heavily. He was taken to a farm but died on his injuries. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.

    Regards

    Simon
