MARTINDALE, William Leonard - Sgt(Pilot) - possibly killed whilst flying in Spitfire IX, PL146 of No 39 MU, which crashed and burst into flames at Colerne following an aborted take off due to vibration, registered in Cirencester.
POOLE, Roger Henry Claude - LAC - registered in Brentford

There is the death of a Charles Evans registered in Belfast district, Northern Ireland on 19 July 1944. The new GRONI search engine may or may not be hiding amiddle name but I can get that much from a free search. Death seems to be a DOAS casualty.

I cannot see Gilroy or Poole in Flight magazine or elsewhere.

Poole is listed in national Probate Calender as

Died at: 30 Twickenham Road, isleworth

from CWGC, HESTON AND ISLEWORTH, MUNICIPAL BOROUGH does not have any civilians killed that date, one child died of injuries received earlier.
The names adjacent to his on the register don't appear to be casualties apart of the child mentioned above.

A quick update for the following two:

LAWSON, John - AC2c (Flt/Engr) - 1590121
MARTINDALE, William Leonard - Sgt(Pilot) - 1395904

The R.C.A.F. service records of J/41958 P/O Gordon Howard ATKINSON, R.C.A.F. record that he, along with the two R.A.F. men above, were killed in Oxford I V3147 of 15 (P) A.F.U., Kemble. The Oxford crashed on a cross country training flight, some 1/2 mile east of Kemble.

Martindale was the trainee pilot, Atkinson the Navigator, and Lawson an U/T Flight Engineer. The Oxford stalled while turning to port at around 800 feet, and dived into the ground.

AC2 Ralph Harold ANNING 1834224 RAF(VR) 228 Squadron at Apapa, Nigeria died at 0600 hours on the 19th July 1944 from Staphylococcal Septicaemia at No. 68 W.A, General Hospital.
He was buried at Yaba Cemetery, Lagos.
