    Default Geoffrey Robert Gavin Magnus-Hannaford

Does anyone have info on which squadron LAC Geoffrey Robert Gavin Magnus-Hannaford flew with?
He trained in 1941 Course 65 5 FST Turn Hill.
I believe he went on to fly Spitfires.
    Cheers

    motherbird, Hi,

Unusual Surname. This is probably your man:-
    First Name GEOFFREY R G
    Last Name MAGNUS-HANNAFORD
    Mother's Maiden Name FREEMANTLE
    Year 1922 Event Quarter 4
    Month of Registration -
    Country England
    County London
    District HACKNEY
    Volume 1B Page 584 Line Number 100

You might have to get an answer to your question the hard way! There were/are a number of marriages (and subsequent progeny) but most of them are in the London area so might be easier to track down!

    Hello,

If it's the same man, there seems to be an Army/New Zealand connection:
