    Can anybody supply details on where some of the following airmen lost in action/accidents came from and their age at death?

    Malcolm, at least two of them (from They Shall Grow Not Old):

    LEECH - NCO nr R178763, from Two Hills, Alberta, age 21.
    JUBY from Toronto, Ontario, age 19.

    Hello Malcolm,

    here are a few quick ones from the birth registers on Ancestry.co.uk:

    Ivor J A Pidgen - birth registered first quarter of 1922 in St Germans, Cornwall and mothers maiden name given as Sloggett.

    I can find two Frederick Dobbie's in the right time frame :
    First born third quarter of 1909 in Sunderland
    Second born second quarter of 1921 in Auckland, County Durham mothers maiden name Hodgson.

    Those are a couple. The other names are a bit too common i'm afraid with a number of hits for each.

    It's a start though!
