    BATSON 1683298 was killed in the Sad Sack Snack Bar incident (aka the Freckleton Disaster). Possibly some of the others listed were also killed in this incident?

    Sgt P Terry listed as Killed on Active Service in Jan 1945 Flight magazine.

    Terry's Grave Registration Report Form lists his unit as 5 R.F.U. The Sevenoaks Chronicle of September 1st 1944 reported that he was killed in a flying accident in Italy.

    Makes me think it might be. One of those sadly obscure aircraft fates.

    JF350 was lost with 92 Sq. - Roy Samuel Sellars (1101209) being injured and died the next day.

    HARPER, James Leslie - F/O - 106627 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at his home at 5 St. Stephens Road, Liverpool.

    KEVAN, Joseph Daniel - LAC - 1480309 - an announcement in the Liverpool Echo of August 25th 1944 records that he was accidentally killed.
