Terry's Grave Registration Report Form lists his unit as 5 R.F.U. The Sevenoaks Chronicle of September 1st 1944 reported that he was killed in a flying accident in Italy.

KEVAN, Joseph Daniel - LAC - 1480309 - an announcement in the Liverpool Echo of August 25th 1944 records that he was accidentally killed.
