Can anyone provide me details of a ground crew accident that occurred at RAF Llanbedr on 9 September 1942, please?

According to the RAF Llanbedr ORB for that date, one "A.C. Lanyon of 3016 Echelon [was] killed on the Aerodrome. A.C. Lanyon was on drogue duty and was run into by a Spitfire taking off."

The Llanbedr ORB provides no further detail on which squadron's Spitfire was involved, or the name of the pilot. 41 Squadron was based at Llanbedr at the time, but the Squadron ORB makes no mention of the incident at all. Does anyone have any additional detail, please?
