    Hello All,
    This one is fairly unusual:-
THOMLINSON, Edna Mae (Cleveland, Ohio,USA) - LACW - registered in Dorchester.
Lot of American blokes joined the RAF (in one guise or another!), but what was this blokess doing?
    Anybody know?
    Rgds

    Hi Peter,

We had a bit of a toss round on 12 o'clock high to see if she was in the runway control caravan

    Ross, Hi,
    Tks dat!
Presumably (the Death Word in this game?!!) if she was in the WAAF then she would have had a Pers File and/or a Service Record? I might even - at one stage - have thought about punting/committing 30 to get sight of the minimum from Disclosures, it is such an unusual case!! But, if I had still been in HMQ's employ I would have gone, via the 'back-door', to the Air Attache in the US Embassy!! Her Death Date is, after all, only a couple of months after D-Day! There is good media kudos for that at this time. The US Air Attache could have got one of his/her minions to obtain this without any probs!! LOL LOL! One can but dream?!!
