Tom,
Only found that he was posted to RAF Gosport in May 1936. Gosport had a Torpedo Trials Unit not much later till 1940.

Hello all,
F/Lt Harold Wray Tennant (37431) was "B" Flight Commander of 306 Squadron and died when Hurricane V6992 crashed at Hopton in Shropshire.
According to "The Times" he had served with Torpedo bomber aircraft both at home and with Far East Command since 1936.
My question is......What Squadron(s) did he serve with pre war?
Cheers, Tom
