Default 600 Sqdn Blenheim attack on He 111 13/14 March 1941

Could anyone give me details of an attack on an He 111 by a 600Sqdn Blenheim about 6 miles south of Glasgow. The attack was at 21.51hrs but I am not sure of the date whether it was 13 or 14 March 1941 (Clydeside blitz). I was after the Blenheim details and outcome of the attack if possible?
    Many Thanks
    Keith

    Hi Keith,

Two books give night of 13/14 March so if your time is right then 13th it is.

He 111H-3 wr nr 3352 of 1/KG100, crashed Drumshang Farm, Dunore, Ayrshire. Four crew POW.

Blenheim not identified but crew P/O Gordon A Denby and P/O Gilbert Guest, operating out of Prestwick. 600 Sqn first confirmed success.

"Those other Eagles" has a section on Denby but mentions the use of a Beaufighter which does not seem to be correct.

    regards Peter
