George Lane 111828 , attached to 115 Wing was found suffering from a penetrating gunshot wound to the head in his bathroom from which he died 30 minutes after discovery

Sliwo Dawid X/62 , attached to 6th Battalion , sustained fatal gun shot wounds when two Levy vehicles were held up by armed bandits at Midnight near Quatra . The Levies were unarmed at the time and offered no resistance and the murderers were never apprehended but were believed to be Jewish rebels

Reginald James Mackay 77545 , attached to Number 174 Wing, was admitted seriously ill the British military hospital at Delhi on 10 August , be coming dangerously ill on 26 August, dying of chronic bacillary dystentry, , secondary anaemia and lobar pneumonia
