    Default Spitfire Vb, BL859

    Hello,
Can anyone please help with the a/c code letter for BL859 of 412 sqn. It was destroyed in a training accident flown by F/Sgt John David 'Lucky' Luxton R84223 on 5-8-42.
It crashed at Priory Farm near RAF Ford.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.
    Thank you, Roy

Hi Roy, have you tried already to consult 412 Sq ORB?

    Hello Pavel,
Thanks for you idea, but the ORB does not list a/c letters. BL859 was used by B Flt but was also used by some A Flt pilots. I have most code letters for 1941-2 this one has escaped me.
    Thanks again,
    Roy.
