Hello,

A french website writes that RAF Douglas C47 Dakotas (surely from 46 Group) flew D-Day operations on 5/6 June 1944 with USAAF marking instead of RAF ones and so that only aircraft serials could make the difference between USAAF and RAF C47s.
Can somebody confirm if it is true because I think have always seen RAF Dakotas on photos with RAF markings concerning D-Day operations.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
