Arthur Watson 994163 , attached to Number 12 Balloon Centre, collapsed and died on duty in the balloon rigging shop of a coronary thrombosis

Ronald Alfred Allen 1333143 , was killed in a civilian ferry boat accident in Brindisi Harbour . The ferry was struck by an Italian harbour tug boat and sank. Allen and 3 Italians were drowned. His body being recovered on 27 October

John Ernest Wells 1439679 , attached to HQ Fighter Command, was admitted seriously ill to Redhill County hospital on 18 October, becoming dangerously ill on 20 October, dying of poliomyelitis

John Ernest Wells 1439679, information has come to light that he died after being admitted to Redhill County hospital from SSQ at RAF Stanmore of infective poly neuritis and NOT Of poliomyelitis
