    Looking for the delivery date for the above to the UK. Believe it was mid-late November 1944.

    G'day Robert

    Douglas Dakota Mk.III, s/n KK130 was delivered to England on the 22nd of November 1944. It was subsequently taken on strength with No. 238 (T) Squadron on the 5th of January 1945 at R.A.F. Station Merryfield, Somerset.

    Thanks, Chris. That fits with what I have. It was flown to Greenland by a pilot who was then supposed to fly a troublesome Mosquito to the UK - the latter crash-landed at BW1 following a test flight. KK130 was flown on to the UK by the first officer from the legs out from Dorval and Gander to BW1.
