    Default F/Lt L W Rookley (566056), 63 Squadron

Hello all, i'm trying to establish the loss of the above named officer with 63 Squadron on the 24th October 1944.

Can anyone shed and light on his loss?

    Thanks, Tom

    Hi Tom
I don't know if this duplicates what you already have , but he was based at N Weald at the time of his death flying Spitfires and his death is registered at Braintree. It might indicate that he was flying against the V1's, somewhere around the Thames Estuary when he died.
