Default 1251932 Sgt Albert Douglas Parks Royal Air Force

    Good Evening Chaps
I am seeking some help with research into 1251932 Sgt Albert Douglas Parks RAF whose GSM 1918 with the clasp Malaya I have in my Parks named medal collection.
I understand his RAF number indicates his enlistment was in May 1940, in the area Uxbridge, Glouster and Penarth. I have his first names from Air 78.
I have aaccount of him as a Cpl being up in court on a rail warrant charge in 1942 when he's said to be be on "embarkation leave".
Searching for him on Ancestry I found a number of family trees, one of whose owners says "he was in the RAF in Picton Ontario and Victoria B.C."
From that I assume he was with 31 Bombing and Gunnery School in Picton and 32 OTU in Victoria.
He died in 2008 so I can't get anything from the MOD.

I am at a dead end!!! Any suggestions? The RAF is new ground for me!

I have now discovered that on enlisting in the RAF he was a butcher's assistant and that in August 1942 ( when his wife died) he was stationed at RAF Cosford and on the strength of HQ Sqn, No 4 Technical Training Wing. So I am beginning to think he was probably a cook???
    Does that ring anybody's bell?
