BUTCHER David Cowan 986513 - died at 9.45 pm at 7 Elba Street in Ayr aged 30 of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. His occupation is given as Carting Contractor's Clerk - no mention of his RAF service on the Statutory Deaths Certificate.

COATHUP, Leslie Selkirk - Sgt (Pilot) - 1523138 - also in Magister R1906. The G.R.R. on his CWGC entry confirms his unit as 10 F.I.S., and his death was announced in the Liverpool Echo of November 16th 1944 as the "result of a flying accident."

SYRETT, John Frederick - LAC - 910098 - the Middlesex Chronicle of November 25th 1944 reported the inquest into his death. It records that he was an R.A.F. despatch rider, and was killed when his motorcycle collided with a lorry on the Great South West Road, Bedfont. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
