Default TNA records re. killing Sgt. Martinez 227 Sqn 6/7 December 1944

    Dear all,

I got a request from a German researcher who is currently researching the 6-7 December 1944 Giessen raid; he's looking for copies of the following records re. the killing of Sgt. Martinez of 227 Squadron Lancaster NG296. Who has a copy or these records, or is willing to photograph them at TNA?:

    http://discovery.nationalarchives.go...ails/r/C172041

    Reference: WO 309/328
Description: Oberlemp, Wetzlar, Germany: killing of British airman.
Includes 2 photographs depicting: HQ BAOR: War Crimes Group (NWE); Heinrich Reuscher, accused of killing British airman Flight Sergeant Martinez at Oberlemp, Germany on 7 December 1944. Dated 1947-1948.
    Date: 1947 Apr-1948 Aug
Held by: The National Archives, Kew

Former reference in its original department BAOR/WCG 15228/2/C3328/Legal

    Cheers and thanks, Theo
