TIZARD, Herbert Lionel - Sgt (Pilot) - probably killed whilst flying in Hurricane IID, HV665 of No 71 OTU, which stalled and crashed on the approach to Ismailia following an engine failure.

ITALY
GWALCHMAI, George Kenneth Rowley - P/O (Pilot) - possibly killed whilst flying in Expeditor II, HB250 of No 4 FU, which flew into high ground near Naples during a ferry flight in low cloud.
