    Default Group Captain CRUMMY

    Hello,

I'm looking for all the infos about the career of Group Captain CRUMMY.
All I have found at the moment is a Group Captain Bertram Arnold James CRUMMY CBE (22217) in the London Gazette.

Group Captain CRUMMY would have been at RAF Hurn and possibly at RAF Andover in 1942.

I thank you in advance for all your help.
    Regards.

Bruno, what may be of interest to you is that he is recorded in Death index as passing away September 1995 in Worthing, Sussex. His birth date is given as 24th January 1905.

Searching the phone book there is a Crummy still living in the area.

May be of use to you?

    Tom

    Default W/Cdr Crummy

    Bruno

I knew I recognised this name but could not recall where I had seen it before.

W/Cdr Crummy seems to have been the Senior Armaments Officer in Army Co-operation Command from February 1940 until May 1942.
