    Default Two Canadians

I am seeking ages and towns/states that the following Canadian airmen came from:

F/Sgt Joseph Leon Triffle Chartier (R/98891) killed on 28 September 1942
    F/Sgt Michael Antifaev (R/157737) killed on 21 October 1943

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Default Chartier RCAF

Chartier's wife lived in New Westminster, B.C. (source "http://www.civilization.ca/cwm/newspapers/intro_e.html")

    Chris,

Yes, BC is a province, but the people there seem to be in a very different state that the rest of us Canadians!

Caught by the proverbial beaver trap!

Apologies all round - I was looking at a couple of Australian airmen before I posted and got myself into a state!

I was born 150 yards from where Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Mackenzie River fame was born in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, so I should have navigated the web better with more precise information.

I also had a grand uncle (Roderick Campbell who wrote a book about his experiences in the late 19th Century - The Father of St Kilda) who worked for the Hudson Bay Company, so beaver tail between legs, I apologise to Canadians worldwide for my faux pas!

    Regards
    Malcolm
