CROMARTY 1122156, HARTLAND 156566 and RILEY 120395 - I've got them noted as lost on Wellington XIII MF174 of the E.A.N.S.? Pilot was Jozef PIASECKI.

    CHRISTIE, Elizabeth Margaret - LACW - 2074617

A notice from December 1947 in the Dundee Courier records that she died suddenly at RAF Leuchars.

Hi, do you have any more details on Robert Craik please? He is my great grandfather and I am trying to find out more about what happened to him, my family were not given many details at the time. Thank you

The best I can add is the above link showing he Died on Active Service.

This category indicates that his death was not caused by enemy direct action or a flying accident.

His listed unit of 136 Wing suggests he was a ground based servuce member. He might therefore have met with an accident such as a vehicle crash or while servicing an aircraft. Alternativly he might have died of illness.

Some of the others here might have immediate access to RAF records that might mention his passing.
