    Default Airspeed Oxford Loss. 30.10.42

    Hi all,

I have it that on 30th October 1942 an Airspeed Oxford crashed into the rectory of South Kelsey, Lincolnshire, killing the three crew.

Can anyone please identify the aircraft, squadron and crew?

    Any help appreciated.

    Regards
    Peter

No Oxford lost this date in Air Britain Aeromilitaria (Crashes in UK).

    Peter,

It would seem to be an error with the year:

Try BG665 of 15PAFU which crashed at South Kelsey on 31-Oct-43

    Thanks dg,

The Oxford for 31 October 1943 seems to be the most promising.
