    Default Short Stirling wirecutter

    Hi,

Hope somebody here, can help me with a technical sheet/photo of a cable wirecutter from a Short Stirling. Our local museum is in possession of a wirecutter from Stirling Mk III LJ526 OJ-P from 149 Sqn.

I just want to tell our museum guests more details of the purpose of the cutter. The cartridge is disarmed!

Does there exist any accounts of cutting balloon cables, without damage or loss of aircraft?

    Best regards

    Many thanks Amrit,

Confirms that this device, did not had so much success, but it was a good idea!

Our cable cutter is in a very good condition, because a school boy found it just after the crash.

    Best regards
