    Hi Pavel

Could CWGC have the squadron incorrectly listed for these two: -

HEBDIGE, JACK ALBERT (1324884); age Unknown RAFVR
ROBERTS, ROLAND (1395620); age 22 RAFVR

They are listed as 257 Sqn but are commemorated on the Malta Memorial, perhaps they should be 256 Sqn?

    Hi Malcolm.
    Thanks you.
W/O HEBDIGE, JACK ALBERT (1324884) RAFVR
    W/O ROBERTS, ROLAND (1395620) RAFVR
    seem very likely
    Location 257 Sqdn
    October 1944 to February 1945: B.70 Deurne
February and March 1945: B.89 Mill
    Duty 257 Sqdn
    30 August 1944-5 March 1945: No.146 Wing; No.84 Group; 2nd Tactical Air Force
    Italy is excluded.
Probably it is a 256 Sqdn.
    Regards
    Pavel
