Default Airspeed Oxford Loss / Crew

An Airspeed Oxford of 15 PAFU (Pilots Advanced Flying Unit), serial BG665 hit a house low flying on Sunday 31 October 1943 at South Kelsey, Lincolnshire

Looking for the names of the crew of this aircraft.

    Any help most appreciated.

    Regards
    Peter

    Paul,
CARR and NIXON are on my 'unaccounted list' for 30-10-1943; BENITO is not.
Benito could have been Sgt (Nav) Angelo B. SOLARI - 1416097, buried Merthyr Tydfil (Pant) Cemetery.
    Regards,
    Henk.

I am NOT saying this is the crew (it MIGHT be the crew), someone (who has access) needs to check the death registers if possible to confirm

    Hi Paul
Carr and Nixon are both on CWGC with the same Death Date ,30/10/43 but only a Frank E Carr is on the Ancestry Death register , age 34(also on CWGC) and registered at Newark. Benito didn't come up on either site(?poss survivor)

    Hi Peter
I think we can rule out Henk's 2 other "unaccounted" names . Vernon Cocker,40 is registered at Paddington ,W Central London and Douglas Powell ,28, is registered at Pwllheli in N WALES.

    Hi Dick,

Looking at Henks reply as quoted above it is looking as though Sgt. A B. Solari could be the 'Benito' involved in this incident. My contact tells me that 'Benito' is buried in Wales which led him to believe at first all the crew were all Welsh.

I'd be grateful for any more info if possible.

    Regards
    Peter.
