Reginald A C Hooper had two younger brothers (Maurice D and Leslie A - both Reg in the same areas).
There is a very large number of Hoopers in the Bristol/Bath areas of BT residential telephones.
The Bristol & Bath Family History Society is at http://www.bafhs.org.uk/index.php. They may well be able to point you in the right direction?
