    I have come across a memo from a Station Commander to D.D.I.2, can anyone tell me who or what was D.D.I.2

    Almost certainly Deputy Director of Intelligence (2), although the division of the Int Deputy Directorate into the various sub-divisions does not seem to have occurred by Jan 39 (Air Force List).

    DDI(2) was in existence by Dec 39

    AFL gives at Jan 43
    Deputy Directorate of Intelligence (2)
    Deputy Director. . Group Captain J. A. Easton
    And you can chase him up using a s/n of 26098 in the LG
