    Default Dulag Luft Trial 1945

Has anyone a copy of The Dulag Luft Trial by Eric Cuddon.
I would welcome a message to see if you would kindly do a look up for me.
Also has anyone examined any PRO documents for the trial to see if any statements of prisoners are within them.

Thank you for looking at my request. Colin.

A thank you message to David who has kindly sent a reference in the book.
I would still like to know if any original statements regarding the trial can be found in Kew.
Should anyone have any knowledge upon these or any knowledge of official escape reports in general do please let me know.

Once again thanks to the forum and David who responded.

    Hello Colin,
What are the specifics of the event? This may tell me which dusty corners of the Kew online catalogue to trawl.
    Regards,

    Bruce.
It was an escape by tunnel on 1 June 1941, a significant number of men appear to have escaped. My hope was to gather positive evidence from any reference made in the trials that took place in late 1945.

Do you have any place/date/jurisdiction/plaintiff/defendant info for the trails?

Bruce. I only have - The Dulag Luft Trial. Wuppertal trial. 26 November to 3 December 1945. The defendant reference I have was heinrich Eberhardt.

As the trial was for defendants having committed crimes It is a long shot that within the papers references will be made to the escape.

    Thank you for your thoughts.

Thanks Bruce. I found this result of the trial:

Five ex-Luftwaffe officials convicted in Case No.19 (The "Dalag Luft" Trial), which was held before a British Military Court at Wuppertal, from November 26, 1945, to December 3, 1945. Three were found guilty. Two were acquitted, and the remainder were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
Erich Killinger : 5 Years Imprisonment
Otto Böhringer : Acquitted & Released
Heinrich Eberhardt : 3 Years Imprisonment
    Gustav-Bauer Schlightergroll : Acquitted & Released
Heinz Junge : 5 Years Imprisonment

I will arrange to see what I can find, thanks again. Colin.
