    Default 83 O.T.U. Peplow, Sept 1943 - Group Photos

For those with an interest in aircrew who passed through 83 O.T.U, (Peplow/Childs Ercall), the page below contains three group photos of trainees.
    http://www.aircrewremembered.com/wardle-anthony.html

My estimate is that these photos were taken in early to mid September 1943.

    Pilots
    ELLISON Flight Sergeant
    JEAL Sergeant
    JONES Sergeant
    OLIVER Flight Lieutenant
F/L Oliver was pilot for Hewetson and Dowling for a long period at O.T.U but did not finish with this crew.
Hewetson and Dowling left Peplow as part of W/C RVL Pattison's crew.
    PILLTINGSGRUD Lieutenant Norwegian?
WARDLE AVH Sergeant KIA 29th July 44; buried at Durnbach
Aged 21 at time of death. We can barely imagine the determination to serve, of a man who looks, and was so young.
    WOODCOCK Sergeant
    NELSON JD Wing Commander 33092

EDEN F Shot down 28/29 July 44: PoW Bankau
    ELLIOT

    WREFORD

Hewetson and Dowling are well known to me as I've extensive research of their 625 Sqn crew.
Does anyone have any information on the others; It would be good to add some details to these photos and interesting to summarise what happened to them.
I'm not having much success with officer details via Google searches of London Gazette entries.

    Best regards

    Mike
