    Default B25 Mitchell FW205

    Seeking information on the loss of B25 Mitchell FW205 on the 30th September 1944.

    Any information of help.

    Hello,

    No.225 Squadron was a Med-based Spitfire unit.

    226 sqn flew Mitchells, though...

    From another source I now have a little further information The aircraft was with 226 Squadron & was flying from Hartfordbridge to B50 Vitry-en-Artois when it caught fire. F/O Clifford James Walters 226 Squadron Adjutant who was a passenger was killed when his parachute failed.

    Any further infoation appreciated
