Default The threat of a purge!

Sounded very stalanist! An email informed me that I was to be purged if I did not post on the forum. Deleted yes, but purged? Well hopefully I will survive another year? Maybe.....

    Likewise RMP.
Whilst I am a fascinated reader of the various threads, I wasn't aware of any expectations of me to comment - lesson learnt I guess!
    Here's to another year - hopefully. ........

Hmm. maybe we are reading too much into the word purge ?? ;)

PS: The requirement was not to make a post.. but merely logging in once a year. We have over 7000 members. 4000 of them have not made a single post, AND have not logged in for over an year.

Okay it seems the email may have gone to members who have recently registered as well. in which case please ignore that email.

The purge/deletion notice should have gone out only to those who registered, never posted and never logged into the site for the past year or more.

If you are such member, simply logging into the site will change the account status to active and will avoid deletion ..
