    Default P.J. Coleman 53 Squadron evader 1940

    Hi guys

Plt Off P.J. Coleman of 53 Squadron was shot down in Blenheim T1816 on 11 August 1940. He evaded captured and presumably returned to UK.

    Has anyone further details, please?

    Cheers
    Brian

    Brian,

No Escape and Evasion reports seem to exist for this man.

    Brian,

Have a look at Ross' post #5

    http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=14603

Oliver Clutton-Brock's "RAF Evaders" has "Not Found" for any evasion questionnaire for P/O Coleson.

    Regards,

    Dave

    Hi Nick & Dave

    Many thanks for your contributions.

Our man is obviously 42695 P.J. COLESON (not Coleman), who, as Chris has discovered, escaped from captivity (not evaded or PoW).

My question now is: presumably, since he escaped, he returned to UK? Have we any information?

    Cheers
    Brian
