    Hello,

Any idea as to when or if the Revised Edition of Vol 2 BCL will be on the shelves ?

    Thanks

    Hi Alex

I believe Bill Chorley has passed away.

If that's true, Brian, that's such sad news.

But what a legacy he'll have left us, with his invaluable BCL series.

    Hi chaps,
I am pretty sure that he would live now for long!
As far as I know he is still well as I got an email from him today with answer to our question.

"Revision going extremely well, but it will be June/July before it is finished. The revision will be in excess of 400 pages."

So I think it is now quite early to talk about possibly publication date now.

Cor blimey - wasn't it Mark Twain who said: 'news of my death has been greatly exaggerated'.

    Hi Brian

Haha! I think that counts as a "Doh!" from both of us then. And like you I'm delighted to be proved wrong in this case.

Just proves you shouldn't believe everything you read online! : )

I hope Mr Chorley might be amused, not offended, by our mistake.

    Have a good day

    Hello All,

Good News, I hope that Bill will be with us for many years to come.

My question about Revised vol two was because it was 2013 when the revised Vol one was published and I thought it time to see vol two.
From what Pavel says we will have to wait a little longer, it will be worth the wait I'm sure.
In the mean time perhaps the second vol of Middle East losses or Coastal Command losses may see the light of day ?
    Well, one can hope.
Thanks for replies and news of Bill.
    Alex
