Default No. 11 Ground Flight, RAF Turnhouse??

I have the Service Record of a former flight engineer, and whilst still serving in a ground trade was posted to No. 11 Ground Flight at RAF Turnhouse in March 1941. He told me he was servicing aircraft, but can anyone tell me a bit about the unit? I cant find anything on it.

    Thank you

Although he has written 'No. 11 Ground Flight' in a transcript, the note on his Service Record may be '11 Group Flight'.

    Hi
Remember that 11 Group was in Fighter Command and was in the extreme S E of England. There may have been a Group Flight ,as there were Station Flights, having one or more hack a/c for communication and pilot continuation training but it seems unlikely that it would have been at Turnhouse near Edinburgh.
    Regards
    Dick
