Hello Pavel,
I do not have access to my notes at the moment but am reasonably sure BUSBY was air operations against/looking for blockade runners using the Bay of Biscay route. Does this fit?
Bruce
Hi all,
in ORB Appendicies of No. 19 Grp CC I found a note at 14.1.1943 "Operation Bushby in force".
Anyone can provide me any details reagrding this operation?
I had no luck with Mr. Google yet.
TIA

Hi Bruce,
yes it should fit as for example on 26.1.43 our 311 Sq was on a bombing raid on Bordeaux with the task to destroy a blockade runner which slipped through.
