    Hello
    Can anyone tell me the circumstances surrounding the death of Lt. Colonel Laurence Aubrey "Laurie" WILMOT D.S.O. D.F.C. (102596). with 60 Squadron SAAF on 26 Jun 1947 in Station SAAF Waterkloof, Pretoria, South Africa?
    Any information would be most appreciated.

    Mark, I suspect that as the accident occurred in 1947 it would be seen as a peace-time accident. Regards, Terry

    For the purposes of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the period of World War Two is 3 September, 1939 to 31 December, 1947.
